The Crowded Table
Stories, recipes, and the people who bring us together. Pull up a chair and stay connected as we gather voices from kitchen tables across our communities.
From My Side Of The Table
CATERED IN PERSON SOUL CIRCLE
An invitation to gather around a table, share food and make room for the questions that ask something deeper of us.
We’ll begin by landing in the space together, connecting with our breath and taking a moment to arrive. I’ll hold space for facilitated conversation, bringing material for us to reflect upon, question and explore together.
My current inquiry takes us into kinship worldview, the Evolved Nest, the meaning of monastic life and the Divine Feminine through Sophia, Mary the Apostle and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. We’ll explore what these teachings might mean for our relationships, our communities and the ways we live.
Open to men and women who feel drawn to these conversations. Come ready to participate, contribute your reflections and listen with curiosity. You don’t need prior knowledge or a particular religious belief.
I’m Tawny. I specialize in facilitated conversation and have been hosting retreats since 2018. My spiritual practice is earth-based and my approach intuitive. Each gathering begins with an intention, while the material develops closer to the date and unfolds with those present. There is no religious indoctrination or expectation that you adopt a belief.

UPCOMING EVENT SCHEDULE
ONLINE SOUL CIRCLE
I’m diving into questions that keep calling me deeper: kinship worldview, the Evolved Nest, the meaning of monastic life and the Divine Feminine through the teachings of Mary the Apostle and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. I’m inviting you to explore them with me.
What might these teachings reveal about belonging, relationship and how we live together? What happens when we make room for feminine wisdom and ask questions beyond the answers we’ve inherited?
This online gathering welcomes men and women, near and far, who feel drawn to this inquiry. Expect to participate, ask questions, contribute your own reflections and listen to others. We may use breakout rooms for smaller conversations.

Mini Soul Retreat
An afternoon for women to pause, breathe and reconnect through yoga, soulful conversation and a nourishing meal catered by Fusions.
We’ll begin by landing in the space together, connecting with our breath and settling into our bodies. From there, we’ll move through yoga, stretching and facilitated reflection, with time to share, listen and explore what the season brings forward.
I hold space intuitively, drawing on earth-based teachings, a variety of spiritual traditions and over 460 hours of yoga teacher training. I’ve been facilitating retreats since 2018. There is no religious indoctrination or expectation of shared beliefs, simply an invitation to come with curiosity and participate in your own way.
Each retreat begins with a seasonal intention. Much of the material will emerge closer to the date and unfold through the women gathered.
November 29: Embracing the Darkness Within. An autumn exploration of turning inward and making space for what we carry.
December 27: Sowing Seeds in the Darkness. A gathering centred on Yule, stillness and the possibilities quietly taking root.
January 24: Our theme will be shared closer to the gathering.
Each retreat is three hours and costs $77 per person, including a meal catered by Fusions, in Pugwash.
Please bring your own yoga mat and any props you need for floor-based yoga. Reach out beforehand if you’d like to discuss the movement or how we can support your participation.
